Among the $6 lattes and $10 matchas that you will find in the PATH, sits this humble and unassuming establishment where you can get the best smoothies and froyo at a fraction of the cost. There is a charm in its TV displays that proudly advertise a smoothie’s ability to prevent colon cancer. They bring a certain unique character that is not found anywhere else in the PATH. Somehow, three ladies in Hawaiian shirts manage to outshine all the hype and meticulously trained baristas at the trendier spots nearby. Highly recommend. The fresh juice at Tropical Energy Juice Bar was good. The Carrot, Orange and Ginger Juice (Large Size) was fresh and delicious. We tasted a bit of apple in the juice but that was okay as it added in a bit more sweetness. We couldn’t really taste as much ginger in this juice. It would have been good to add more ginger to give it that good lingering ginger spice kick sensation :p Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
