We’ve just come home from staying 3 nights above 2 the square. The room was perfect, highly recommend checking out air BnB. The food was very nice and cooked perfectly, the staff were so friendly and attentive great value for money. Will 1000% be returning!

Racism?! We went into the cafe as a group of 4 around lunchtime and found that there were no tables available for 4 people. The staff simply told us there were no tables, even though there were clearly several 2-person tables available. So we decided to join two tables together ourselves. However, as soon as the staff member saw what we were doing from a distance, they loudly said, “NO NO” Even the couple sitting at a nearby four-person table felt embarrassed for us and voluntarily left early and offered us their table. About 15 minutes later, another local white family of 5 came into the cafe. They were in exactly the same situation as us. When they saw there were no tables available, they were about to leave, but the staff immediately took the initiative to combine tables for them. Maybe it’s because we’re not white locals. Besides, their hygiene standards are absolutely terrible! I witnessed how one of the staff prepared an iced drink. She put the ice bucket directly on the floor, then crouched down, picked up the ice cubes with her bare hands and put them into the drink. Both my partner and me witnessed and surprised how it can happen in the UK!

Ignorant. Visited 1 Aug having been before. Went to place order at counter, was informed a member of staff would come to our table. Waited and walked out. Considering there were three girls behind the counter and one older lady talking to customers at tables, there were enough for one to have taken an order. Ignoring customers costs business money. Won't bother returning. Lovely, homley, cafe in high street nearby, they'll get our future custom
