A small Chinese takeaway near Goldsmiths that also has a few dine-in seats. No reservations and only about 12 seats inside. They open at 5:30pm and unclewrinkle cooks everything on his own, so food can be a bit slow but still worth the wait. Prices are very friendly. Six of us ate until we were full and it was only about £27 per person. Loved the salt and pepper aubergine and tofu. Crispy outside, soft inside, very addictive. The ribs were good too. We even ordered another portion, though the second one was a bit dry. Fermented bean curd chicken wings tasted like a. Chinese twist on New Orleans wings. Slightly oily but fun. The roast duck was surprisingly decent and got approval from friends from Nanjing and Guangdong. My favourite moment was actually the coconut candy Uncle Wrinkle gave us at the end. Big pieces and full of coconut flavour. It instantly felt like home He was also very cute. When we paid he jokingly blamed us for coming as a big group and said he couldn’t cook at his best.
