We were really impressed by our meal, the food was very good as were the range of drinks available. Abigail went above and beyond, ensuring that everything was perfect and even went to the trouble of finding a vegan dessert from a different restaurant. She was fantastic throughout - friendly and attentive, a true asset to the restaurant. Thank you! Had a great evening with the missus watching Jason Isbell. Stopped off for a quick cuppa cha as a pregame - none of the hard stuff for us now we’re in our mid 50s. I have no complaints but thought it would be best to leave a note here for the management: my wife and I both take white sugar with our coffee. Although the sugar sachets provided did state they would be white sugar, the contents of the packet was in fact brown! We thought this may be a one off but we went through the whole of the plant pot on the ledge and every single sachet of white sugar actually contained brown sugar. The whole thing was very bizarre and the only thing I can conclude is a factory error - might be worth checking all your sachets to make sure they actually contain the correct colour of sugar to make sure customers don’t get disappointed! My sister and I came to see Jack Savarotti in April and had a meal and interval drinks in the Kensington Gardens Bar. The food was delicious and the service we received from Michel was exceptional. A real credit to the team. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
