Nice place, right in the centre of the city. Any time we're in York we head here... and not just for the two for one cocktail happy hour deal. I would definitely recommend going. Price per person: £10–20

Me and my boyfriend came here a few weeks ago and we can confidently say we will be coming back to york just for Victor J's. The vibes are immaculate, love that you can play board and card games and the long island's are to die for! Think the guy serving us was called Alex and was really helpful. Well done guys! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My past experiences of victor J's have been very good, excellent food nice atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. My recent visit was very different, the biggest disappointment was the change of menu, although the food was nice (street food) I much prefer the previous menu and have recommend to friends many times because of the food and the atmosphere and the staff, my cousin and myself were the one's in which says a lot ro me . Please please can you bring the old menu back the food was more appealing and a lot nicer Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Hi ValerieSorry to hear that you are disappointed in the menu change, but unfortunately we are not planning to change it back anytime soon, we have seen an increase in trade since adopting the new menu and other than yourselves have had 100% positive feedback.All businesses have quiet periods, so the lack of customers during your visit is very unlikely to be related to our menu change.
