I visited The Victoria Inn this evening and had one of the nicest meals I have experienced in years. I have often felt let down by the food scene in Salcombe recently and it has not had the spark it used to but today completely changed that for me. This was the first time in a long while that I truly felt connected to Christmas again and it made the whole day feel special. The service was immaculate the food was beautiful and the drinks were flowing perfectly. For the first time in years Christmas Eve actually felt like Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was warm welcoming and full of good vibes and exactly what I have been missing. A huge thank you to Katie, Claudia and Danielle and all the staff at The Victoria Inn, they did not just serve a meal they created a moment - they made my Christmas feel real meaningful and memorable and I cannot wait to come back when I get the chance! I would definitely recommend The Victoria Inn to anyone in Salcombe. If you are looking for great food fantastic service and a place that captures the magic of the season this is the place to be.
