Went out for a late meal and most places had stopped serving. Came across the Village Inn with 5 mins to order. Modern, clean, welcoming and polite staff. Nice music. Not too loud. Had chicken tenders for starters and the haddock and chips. Good size fish, nice light and crispy batter, plenty of chips. Tartare sauce was nice. Bargain at £12.99. Don't forget to put your car reg in for parking. Also dog friendly. Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Children's menu split into under and over 6s.

Came here with my good friend to enjoy our regular weekly beer and burger. Saw that they changed the menu so couldn't have the regular burger so we opted for the ribs. They were so delicious I would highly recommend. Riley was our server and he couldn't do enough for us. I've not seen him here before but he will be an asset to this place. He is very friendly and attentive which is what makes this place a gem. Thank you Riley for being amazing! Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here today for Mother’s Day dinner, the food was so good! The Mother’s Day deal was fantastic and not one problem with food. Really accommodating staff, lovely atmosphere and very clean. This will become a regular place for celebrations and a meal out for us. Thanks to all involed really lovely afternoon. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
