Ordered the Markham special and instead of wings I received boneless chicken. This was a delivery order with Door Dash. I tried calling and they did not answer the phone. Door Dash declined a refund because they were unable to investigate the order because WOW Wings did not answer the call. All wow wings had to do was tell me that ran out of wings instead of giving me chicken tenders in place of wings. I called wow wing house the next day and that person said that they were not working a shift at that time and had no idea of the mistake that was made. They also said we are unable to do a refund or even replace the meal and we apologize for the mistake we made. They said they understood my frustration and we are very sorry for the wrong order and we will try our best next time, not to make this mistake again. So, I wasted my money on food I got delivered and I did eat. No investigation by both the wow wing house or Door Dash they just turned a blind eye with no compensation. Thank wow wings for screwing up my dinner. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: CA$20–30

Very disappointing experience at Wow! Wing House in Markham. I ordered 2 Jaffna Fries and specifically asked the staff if they were spicy. I was told that they come spicy and that there was no issue. However, when I received both orders, neither one was spicy at all — both were extremely sweet. This was not what I ordered or what I was told I would receive. If a customer specifically asks for spicy food, the order should be prepared accordingly. I paid for two orders expecting spicy Jaffna Fries and ended up with two sweet ones that I didn’t enjoy. Really disappointed, especially because I asked about the spice level before placing the order. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to customers’ requests and keeps the food consistent.
