Really disappointed with my experience at Waffle Box in Nottingham. We actually love Waffle Box in Derby and go there all the time, which is why we had high expectations and wanted to try the Nottingham branch as well. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a really bad experience. We drove 40 minutes from Derby and got there around 10:00pm, well before their 12:00am closing time, only to be told they were “too busy” to take any more orders. The frustrating part is the shop didn’t even look busy—there were barely any customers inside. I explained that we had come from quite far, but the staff member still refused to take our order without any real explanation or effort to help. It felt like a complete waste of time and really poor customer service, especially when we had such high expectations based on our great experiences in Derby. I hope this improves so others don’t go through the same thing.

This is one of the only places where we go to have waffle and we heard it’s closing down. We’re absolutely shattered. The waffles are so warm and fresh and the ice cream is heaven. Nothing can replace that. @waffleboxnottingham please reply to this comment before you close down so we can have a waffle one last time
