Can Waitrose honestly say their scrambled eggs are made with real fresh eggs. The scrambled eggs i received were possibly the worst looking and tasted horrible The waitress just shrugged andremarked people say they nice Well they are not. The bacon was like old boots and the sourdough toast like cardboard. I must say my husband's poached eggs were OK. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Please be assured, the scrambled egg served in our cafés is made from free-range whole egg and free-range egg yolks with whole milk, butter, salt and pepper. In exchange of the stomach ache you left me, I will be leaving you a 2-star review. Firstly, I had to double check I was actually in a Waitrose and not the cafeteria of the local old people's home. The ONLY reason for the additional star is the meal deal for kids (sandwich, drink, fruit, and two snacks for £5). The scrambled eggs were ORANGE, and considering the clear scoop line, were from a powdered pack mass prepped and left to dry out. For the standard, one would expect to receive from a Waitrose Cafe, why did this come with white bread? On top of that, the sausage bap would have had zero flavour if I had not drowned it in brown sauce. Very disappointing! Service wasn't terrible, but they need to learn to speak up. I am not sure how the elderly (which made up 90% of the customers) heard them. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Don’t bother eating in Waitrose cafe, the food is over priced with a bacon sandwich being £5, this would be fine if it wasn’t dry and crispy with limp, tasteless bacon. The staff were unwelcoming and condescending. Will not be coming back. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
