We hosted our baby shower here and honestly, we could not have chosen a more perfect venue or people to work with. From start to finish, the entire day was absolutely incredible and genuinely exceeded every expectation we had! The Lonsdale room was absolutely gorgeous (especially in August!), the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious and incredibly abundant (so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and that this was the best baby shower they had ever been to!) What really made the day so special, though, was the team. Everyone was incredibly professional, kind, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we felt looked after throughout the entire day. A special thank you to Julian, Lalao, Ryan and Billy, who were absolutely wonderful and helped everything run so seamlessly. Julian even went above and beyond with the smallest details. We realised on the day that we had completely forgotten to bring our table name cards showing the guests where they were sitting, and the team kindly used their own printer to print the designs for us. It was such a small thing, but it made such a difference and was exactly the kind of thoughtful service that made us feel so looked after. The communication in the lead-up was also fantastic, and everything we had discussed came together exactly as we had hoped (if not even better!) On the day, we genuinely felt so cared for and were able to completely relax and enjoy celebrating with our friends and family. We cannot recommend The Walmer Castle highly enough and would absolutely love to celebrate here again in the future! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My favorite pub in London. Consistently kind and polite service. Wonderful inviting and chill atmosphere. Very nice classic cocktails done well and the best frosé I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Wish I could take this place back home with me to Boston. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
