I’ve been ordering from Wan Choi Halal Chinese Takeaway for the past two years, and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else for a quick, satisfying halal Chinese fix. From the very first try, their food stood out – fresh, flavour-packed, and always consistent. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the customer service. Whether I call to order or pick up in person, the team is always welcoming, patient, and happy to adjust spice levels or swap sides. They remember regulars and genuinely seem to care. Once, they forgot a spring roll in my bag – I didn’t even notice until they called me apologising and offered a free one on my next order. That’s top-notch service in my book. If you’re after halal Chinese food that’s tasty, affordable, and backed by a team that treats you like family, do yourself a favour and try Wan Choi. Two years in, I’m still a very happy customer. Never again! Have been told since this place has been under new management it’s not the same and getting food yesterday proved this is infact the case! Vegetable chow mein just tasted of oil and nothing else. Salt and pepper chips? I just got a bag of chips! Food lacks flavour generally. The sauce on the chicken satay skewers was lumpy pale and tasteless. Everything seemed to be completely missing any real Chinese food flavours. A big shame because I loved the food here but will not be returning. Order type: Takeaway

My wife is in hospital and wanted Chinese food so I Ordered from the shop as it was the nearest halal Chinese from me I live 40mins away owner heard my wife is in hospital so he gave extra items on the house also the WHOLE FOOD FOR FREE!!! Which cost around £40...There is still good hearted people in this world! Definitely recommend the food very tasty. See you soon brother
