Had the 3 sisters chili with bannock, and lard & berries for dessert. Chili was spicier than I anticipated, but nothing the Bannock couldn't help me tame. The lard and berries tasted almost like cake icing Definitely worth it, there were so many dishes I had to "eenie meenie miney moe" my way around, have to come back to try them all! Price per person: CA$10–20

1-star solely based on the bannock experience. I knew my taste buds were gonna be in for a surprise when I saw a white guy making the bannock in the back. The "World's Best" is an exaggerated claim that can’t really be objectively proven. Let's just say this generic piece of bread is a bland sock pretending to be a moccasin and I'd give it a participation ribbon at a bread support group. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am making this review for my Kohkum/Grandma on her behalf, and I asked for permission. She visited Wanuskewin Heritage Park about a month ago and I can’t remember why, but it was something for our reserve (Mosquito First Nation) Anyway, she said she had a good time in the restaurant, the food was delicious, and a nice young man with a bandana helped my kohkum to her needs and when she couldn’t say properly anything in English, she said it in Cree and he understood it. She said “there’s this handsome young man that spoke and understood Cree, not many kids nowadays speak or understand” she was happy, she said she went in the next day and he was there and helped her again. My uncle was there too, and she was raving to him about how the young man spoke/understood Cree. She had the duck soup, said it was tasted good, she liked the bannock too. She said if she didn’t live so far she’d go there all the time. It’s very rare you see someone who speaks our language at a restaurant and can accommodate us when in need. Thank you Wanuskewin Heritage Park, and thank you to the young man Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
