Now then, one year on. I have not been around the area as all my clientele had moved on from there, however the coffee served here, as I am sure of any watchhouse branch, would be as smooth as a baby seal's bum whenever i need it. After this week of a few visits, and in particular today, I was not disappointed. I have had a hell of a week and Maltby street delivered a pick me up during my work hours (10am-14:00pm) a couple of times this week for both double espressos and sencha teas. The waiting times is perfect, i prefer slightly longer waiting times cause i know they are taking their time and effort in curating perfect brews and their tea making process like Van Gogh-painter-esque art. If it didn't make sense what i wrote, can't help you. Ask the museum and gallery specialists to explain. In simpler terms, the baristas brewing skills is like a painter at work, mesmerising. To those customers that can't wait an extra minute for the brew to be done, but will happily watch a tok-tok video of over three minutes chatting about dogs doing a poo or recaps on love island, all i gotta say is stand in the bin for half an hour. the cheek of it. The baristas at this branch do a fantastic job and its a shame some people are ungrateful and complain because they have to wait an extra MINUTE. I know, the cheek of it. The Watchhouse Maltby branch's Sencha tea, boy, it made sense. it hit all the taste buds and the drink did help my system recover. I got my energy back and couldn't be more thankful to the baristas. Each of them have a positive attitude that makes the visits this week special. Nel, Anibal, MJ, Gabby and of course Panchi. Each of them delivered solid drinks and energy over the course of the week i did make the trips to their branch. The team works well together, considering the space they have to work with and the volume of customers they cater to daily. I am impressed. Each of them put in effort to make sure i was seated well and had a good experience. Their energy made me feel better during the day of working hours before i went about my day back into central london. For those that do not know, sencha is a great addition to a martial artist's diet, it helps relax the muscles as well as keep them elastic, whilst providing benefits to the body in addition to regulating cortisol levels. It is as nearly as good as Michael Bay's transformers films. Not the new ones, they are pants. Michael bay made them look cool, these new ones look too blunt , the storylines are just pants as well, and the designs are too vanilla, no edge. peppa pig has more edge than them. I will not start on peppa pig, that show is hell. Pigs wearing headbands? Makes no sense. Since when did Optimus prime become cute? No way, can't have that. Michael bay if you are reading this, come back and reverse the damage, ill buy you a sencha tea from WH to convince you to return. Anyways, maltby street branch is a solid branch, thanks to the team that makes it so. Lovely people who love coffee. The people who work at this shop truly care about coffee. They gave me coffee to try while I waited for my order. Then gave me a tea for palette cleanser since I got multiple drinks. Then took the time to give me the story behind the beans they chose doe the pour over.

+++ super tasty coffee +++ super friendly staff +++ tasty pastries I absolutely loved it here!!! The Watchhouse Roastery has an amazing and vibrant atmosphere. It is small but cozy. We first got coffee to go and later on came to sit down and enjoy our coffee in house. Both times we had amazing service. The barista Patrick took his time to explain and recommend every coffee and we really learned a lot. We even tried the specialty coffee, which comes at a price, but was totally worth it. Again Patrick took his time and showed us the whole procedure and we really felt super comfortable. If you are in London be sure to check out this coffee spot. It is located right next to the Maltby street market so you can enjoy your coffee and have a bite afterwards. It is absolutely worth it!!!
