It's very disappointing to watch the staff pick up your food with their hands and make no attempt to wash in between. The lady literally served someone before me then picked up two pieces of bacon with her hands then picked a barm with her fingers put that on a work surface that appeared to be used to place anything on. I think a little training in hygiene wouldn't go a miss. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The range of savouries and cakes is very good. The customer service is five stars. Ann, the manager is always welcoming, friendly and efficient. Waterfields is only let down by its extortionate prices! £22 for a few cakes and savouries - come on Mr Waterfield, there's a cost of living crisis going on. Let's be fair on your customers.
