We just stopped of here for a drink after our evening walk. They had 3 hand pumps on, but the 3 of them were coming soon. Not very clever 3 going off at the same time. The place was quite bitty with an assortment of square tables and different chairs. The staff that served me were nice enough

We booked for a couple of days and found the staff very welcoming and efficient . We were able to check in early which was good . We had a meal on our first night and my steak was excellent . My husband had a curry and again it was very good . We also had breakfast both days and again excellent quality . I asked for a couple of tweaks to mine and it was done without question .The rooms were a good size and very clean . Would recommend this hotel . Service: 5

I’ve been to The Waverley countless times over the last few years, and it never disappoints. This visit was just as lovely — I had the steak pie, my partner had the chicken pie, and our dog Oskar was treated to sausages. Every plate was cooked to perfection — the steak literally fell apart, tender and full of flavour, and Oskar couldn’t get enough of his sausages. The staff here are phenomenal — always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The place has such a calm yet fun atmosphere, and it’s always spotless. It’s one of those spots you can rely on for great food, great service, and a really pleasant experience every single time. Couldn’t recommend it more! Service: 5
