We drove for 25 mins and when we got there the door was locked (again) the lights were on but was not open. We sat in the car and phoned them only to be told that they were opening at 1pm today. What a waste of time and petrol trying to support this business, and it is not the first time this has happened. We will not waste our time and money going back ever again.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Colchester by miles! Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order. No big tubs of smooth sweet sauces here! All the spices and ingredients are evident, and all the dishes taste of the correct spicing and have individual flavours appropriate to the dish. Dishes are plentiful and generous. All the food is served hot and requests for alterations to the dish can be accommodated. There are unusual dishes that are wonderful. We love this restaurant and appreciate the parking outside too. Decor is modern and it's always clean and tidy. The management try very hard to get everything right! Prices are very reasonable too. No point in trying anywhere else locally. Won't be a patch on The Way to the Raj! Do try it, you won't be disappointed! Always consistent with the food and service too. This is a real Indian restaurant! Not run by other nationalities as is often the case! I can tell!!!
