I don't leave reviews often but I was pretty disappointed tonight so let me add mine to all the other recent 1 star reviews of this wendys, although I'd leave zero stars if I were able to. I stopped on my way back from work a few minutes before 11:30pm trying to get a meal, I'm used to getting fast food at night due to the nature of my job but hadn't been to this particular wendys before. They close at 12am. I made my order which was a burger combo as well as 6 chicken nuggets. I clarified the toppings on my burger 3 times because I couldnt understand the lady who was taking my order and because I didn't want them to get it wrong. She repeated back to me the toppings I ordered on two separate occasions while I was initially ordering my food. I was also told that 6 chicken nuggets would take 10 minutes which I found hard to believe, as I've ordered nuggets from wendys at later times but got them within 5 minutes but I grudgingly said I would wait for them because they slap. I pulled up to the window to pay and pick up my food, I asked them to make it 12 nuggets instead however they said it would be 20 minutes for them so I told them to forget it. Tried paying with cash but they said they're only taking debit because they're closing(they still had a half hour until their closing time). While I was waiting for my nuggets I checked the toppings for my burger on impulse and saw they gave me everything on the burger which I didn't ask for. I pulled back into the drive thru window and politely but directly asked them to remake the burger but with the toppings I asked for, I had to repeat the toppings I asked for on my burger FIVE times to the guy which blew my mind. They still forgot the mustard which they said only comes in packets. He seemed like the manager but was talking with this coworkers in a language I couldn't understand and he seemed upset with the situation. He seemed incredulous and stared at me like I had just asked him to summit mount everest when I asked him to correct my order. The cherry on top of the situation was that the fries were stale and barely warm, the patties tasted dried out as well. The nuggets took five minutes, not like the ten they said it would be. Overall, all these recent one star reviews for this place are a realistic depiction of how it is to be served there. Don't waste your time or money and go somewhere else, this place is not where you should be spending your hard earned money. I never go back here to get food ever again and will be actively encouraging people to avoid this place going forward. Truly a disappointing experience. Our family loves going to Wendy's for fast food. The veggies are always fresh and crispy on our salads or burgers, and the meat is fresh tasting and enjoyable. We find the pricing to be reasonable, and can afford to enjoy a dessert treat if we want after dinner. We never feel like our food is too greasy, or end up feeling ill after eating, (which is not the case for all fast food.) We recommend stopping at Wendy's for a snack, meal or treat. Drive thru, or eating in the restaurant it is always a good choice. Yum! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
