Had a meal in here last night for a friend's 70 birthday and it was awful. Me and the wife ordered a chicken burger as we didn't want anything heavy, it turned up and it was a peice of breast obviously pre boiled and just warmed up under the grill. It was served with a few frozen chips that were dry and no amount of vinegar gave them any life. To make matters worse, the friend and my Stepdaughter had to wait age's for there meals? We'd long since finished ours before there's came. There was about 12 of us and not one of us could say we enjoyed our meal. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Just had the worst Whetherspoons experience in my life! I've been to the Barker's brewery in Huyton a few times before and had an acceptable experience. However today.......Apart from the bar staff who were lovely the rest was appalling. Waited over an hour for 2 meals. An empire state burger. Which was two dried out 'carpet burgers' (drier than the desert) with about six chips. A thimble of bean chilli. It was ridiculous. And we waited an hour. They should be ashamed. I don't usually leave reviews but I thought this deserved it.....as you were.
