Me and my friends were approached aggressively by staff and had our unfinished food snatched away and told “nope” when we asked for a refund. Apparently you cannot order food unless you’re 16 (which we are) but as we were in school uniform they didn’t accept it. We were accused of verbally abusing staff, as we were laughing amongst ourselves when finding out we couldn’t order like we have many, many times before!! Worst part is that it was one of our birthdays and we’d came from a GCSEs exam, some of us had one in the next hour so this knocked us around a bit!! I’m extremely disappointed. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Spoons number 204, a very spacious pub ..with staff that are friendly, positive and keen to help. Cask marque certoficate was in post awaiting put up... but staff communicated this amazingly and was very polite... Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Typical weatherspoons with decent food at a great price and plenty of choice of ales, beers, etc. Town centre location with lots of sesting. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
