Popped into this pub a couple of days ago for a bite to eat. The pub is so welcoming and friendly, the staff are happy and acknowledge you as you walk in which is a rarity these days. It had a lovely "village pub" feel to it. The menu was varied and the food delicious! We will definitely return. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had lunch at the Wheatsheaf and had a wonderful time. They were busy, since all tables were booked (including in the bar, where we were) and a member of staff was off; yet our order was prompt, our drinks were lovely and the staff could not have been more attentive. The food is lovely; simple and traditional. The atmosphere is great; with conversations flowing between tables yet with no feeling of invasion. Just lovely. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Had a small portion of chips and my friends had two meals all three were served with love and were delicious! Also had a few drinks there got a little tipsy prices were great and service was even better, (and thanks Steve for the free game of pool next time I’ll bring some change haha) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
