Great village pub, live sports, great atmosphere, not your normal village pub where the locals stare at the intruders haha. Food is amazing, drinks are great and nice and friendly. Oh and your four legged friends are welcome too. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were staying in the Crown Hotel down the road and fancied a change of scenery, so we opted for the Wheatsheaf Inn. What a great little pub. Full of locals when went in and a very lively atmosphere. Local ales on tap, the Eden Pale was a great session ale. We ordered the Thai Salmon which was cooked to order but didn't take too long; it was worth the wait, beautifully cooked with a nice crisply skin. Couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. Would certainly recommend it. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
