Lovely location for a super lunch! Food was excellent (and piping hot, which can be rare in restaurants) Great value for money too. Decor was lovely and staff attentive and very pleasant. Celebrated a family members 80th Birthday at The White Hart and, wow, was it special! We plumped for the 3 course set lunch menu at £22.50 and it was absolutely stunning. We had starters of pea and mint soup which, we all agreed, was the most delicious soup we’ve had out yet. The belly pork bites were small perfectly formed and so tasty that we didn’t want them to end. Our mains involved the salmon which was fabulous, the burger which was succulent and tasty, the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth and the pork medallions which were tender and came in the most amazing sauce known to mankind! Puddings involves the lemon tart with blackcurrant sorbet, which was the most zingy and lemony tart ever with a lovely crème brûlée style topping and then we had the homemade sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Wow. Just wow. The best sticky toffee pudding any of us have ever tasted. Soft, moist, rich and mustn’t missed! Service was next level with our waitress, Karaket, proving to be incredibly polite, extremely helpful and wonderfully attentive. We took a celebratory cake with us and they were even good enough to add their own sparkler to it and bring it out after the meal. Amazing service. The place itself is fantastically decorated and an extremely comfortable environment to sit and have a meal in. The outdoor area is also delightful to either eat or bask in the sun with a drink. Overall, highly recommended. Cannot wait to come back to this fabulous establishment and try the other dishes on the menu (although I don’t know how I’ll try anything other than the sticky toffee pudding because it was to die for!).
