Brilliant Value for money straightforward local community cafe. Propper food, nicely cooked. Brought to table if cooked to order, nothing fancy, just good to eat. Welcoming relaxed atmosphere. Run by people who live here. Same building as Library. 50 yards from No.5 bus stop in the heart of Whitley. Hub for local activities. Over the week and over the month, there is a cycle of meet ups and get togethers and useful services coming in to the cafe. For example: Thursday lunch times £1 for pensioners, beverage and light eats, eg soups or sandwiches. Great place to find someone up for a conversation. Really helpful basic food distribution in the mornings. Availability is seasonal for local produce. (Pot luck.) Absolute life saver. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

the biscoff Thick milkshake is completely out of this world. It is so thick that the straw stands up on its own. you can really taste the biscoff flavour and it is so delicious and creamy. 100% would recommend for a sweet cooling treat on a hot day.
