Having been using Williams the Bakers for many years it's sad to see the decline in food taste and value. These were the two factors that made the visit worth while in the past Everything is very ordinary and generic now including the pasties and cakes. This seems to have started with the sad demise of the original owner. I made my final visit last week and I will not be returning. I used to recommend to all but now there is not much to recommend. The ladies behind the counter are delightful. Price per person: £10–20

We visited Williams Village Bakery Shop in Wool and were blown away by how lovely it was. The smell of the cakes and fresh food as soon as we walked in was amazing, and everything looked so tasty. The two ladies serving were fantastic, so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. What really stood out was how they spoke directly to my young daughter, asking her what she wanted rather than just asking me. It made her feel included and so happy, which I thought was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. A wonderful bakery with great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back if were around here again! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
