Pre ordered for 6pm as was not home yet it was delivered at 5.13pm as got a camera notification so I rang them up to be told they don’t always pay attention to the time slots so when I said why have the options for a time she hung up on me. Made worse as the food was not good. Normally use the king hong but they are closed unfortunately. Will definitely not use again, what a waste of money as most of it went in the bin. Would give no stars if that was an option. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I’ve been ordering from here for over six years now, and I can honestly say they are the best Chinese takeaway in the area. The food is consistently delicious, always full of flavour, and prepared to a very high standard. Over the years, that consistency is one of the main reasons I’ve kept coming back. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the customer service. The staff are genuinely outstanding — friendly, appreciative, professional, and clearly committed to making sure customers are happy. It’s rare these days to find a business that remembers people and goes the extra mile the way they do. On a recent order, I tried something new that included pineapple, and I realised it just wasn’t to my personal taste. It wasn’t an issue with the quality of the food at all — it was simply my own preference. Even so, they handled it incredibly well. They were kind, helpful, and very understanding. Then on my next order, they remembered and added complimentary items for us, including salt and pepper chicken and fried rice, which was such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected. That level of care says a lot about a business. It shows they value their customers and take real pride not only in their food, but in the overall experience they provide. After more than six years of ordering from them, I can say they have earned my loyalty. Highly recommended to anyone looking for top-quality Chinese food and excellent customer service.
