Ordered Chinese in here this evening. Worst Chinese ever! Absolutely disgusting! Shop stinks would never use this place ever again. Please avoid.

The Wing Wah has been there forever. I fondly remember nights out drinking in the Labour Club when it was under the arches. Then at closing time it was into the Wing Wah for a special fried rice to take home and wash down with still more beer. In my opinion evenings well spent. Yes, I could have spent my evenings perhaps reflecting on works of philosophy, studying classical literature or maybe examining fine art. I could have but I didn't. The wife has been acquired since then, won't go near the Labour Club, says I'm dead common and hates the Wing Wah. She says the food is dreadful and certainly I have to admit the rice does have an unusual brick-like quality until mashed up with a fork. But then again that's what forks are for aren't they. Still, there's history in the Wing Wah. Do you know what, I swear the window display hasn't changed in 50 years. The same dead flies are still in their allotted places and that's an honourable achievement of which the owners should rightly be proud. The Wing Wah remains and will always remain dear to my heart. Long live the Wing Wah and may the window display never change ... STOP PRESS !!! The Wing Way has just been painted red which is a much better choice than the previous hideous Tory-blue. Still don't worry the precious window display remains unchanged.
