The Wok in Buckie was where we ordered a late fish n chip supper & it was awful & in the most went uneaten... £5 for 7 measly pieces of scampi a little bigger than a 5p! Chips that were like cardboard & reheated in a microwave!! The chicken goujons were defo shop bought with bread crumbs like Birdseye Brand & this isn't stated in the menu! I expected fresh chicken in batter & was sorely disappointed... The white pudding was sort of passable but soggy with oil & with little batter. Supper felt like it was ordered too late despite The Wok not stating an end of service for this side of the shop, but presumably it was concentrating more on the Chinese Menu at the time of the order & we got left over scabby food reheated in a microwave in our opinion. I was embarrassed to serve these poor offerings to guests & when I worked in a food establishment we were always told, 'If we wouldn't like to eat it ourselves, then don't serve it to the customers!'. The customer should come first & I was going to post this on their Facebook page as they didn't answer my email with photos so alas I shall leave our feedback on here as their Facebook page seems non-existent just now - no surprises! Needless to say the seagulls ate well this morning when my husband threw the chips out to them.. What a waste of £19.80!!!! View your food before you pay & leave the premises is strongly advised!! Food was good but my 1.25L Fanta was missing from the order. Everything else was good just double‑check next time to make sure drinks are included. Price per person: £10–20

My husband was in charge of ordering tea, we've a local wok in in perth. Did he order from our local one? No! After an embarrassing encounter at our local one I realised his mistake. The staff at the Buckie wok in were so helpful and probably enjoyed a giggle at my husbands expense. Full refund issued even though they'd made the food! Im sure the food would have been great. Better get the oven on i guess. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
