Absolutely disgusting customer "service" and attitude, dishonest, refusing to refund. Avoid like the plague! I ordered food for myself and several friends on Valentine's day. After an hour's wait I started chasing, and they lied to me over and over again as I chased over the next two hours that the food was out for delivery. After three hours (by which point we'd made oven chips as we were starving!) I told them to cancel the delivery and refund my money (paid in advance on an app) which they completely refused to do, still repeating to me that the food was out for delivery, and unable to explain how it had been out for over two hours at this point and still not with me. Very long story short, the food never did arrive, and they refused to refund, nor did I read any local news about a missing delivery driver. They were rude and dismissive, I was told amongst other things that "it wasn't their fault they were busy" (though God knows how with that attitude!!!). I then raised a dispute on JustEat to say that the food had never been delivered, who dismissed my complaint out of hand without providing any reasons. I then raised a chargeback on my card, providing ring doorbell evidence that no one had been to my door for at least six hours following the order, and JustEat apparently challenged the chargeback despite that evidence! Pleased to say that eventually the Bank realised that the delivery had not been made and refunded me. However having to jump through such hoops just to get my money back when our evening had been ruined and it is so clear that the restaurant had been dishonest was very frustrating. I have cancelled my JustEat subscription and found a new (and better!) local delivery. I'd strongly recommend you do likewise. EDITED TO ADD I was very surprised a week or two after leaving this review that they seem to have had a run of five star reviews without any comments, this seemed suspicious after the almost universal disgust in the reviews below, so I reported them to Google, who appear to have agreed with me and removed the positive reviews. If correct this would be further evidence of their dishonesty. Service: 1
