Worse landlady we have ever come across, unwelcoming, rude, ignorant. The woodpecker Marshalls Rd Raunds. This is the most unfriendly unwelcoming landlady we have ever come across, as a family she absolutely refuses to serve us, and always gets her staff to serve us, ready to take our money though. We had a meal there once, and she went round every table of people eating, to ask how there food was, and totally ignored us. To a certain criteria of people, of which we are, she absolutely does not acknowledge us at all, one of us is a local regular there and she treats him completely different to the rest of the local regulars. Very unpleasant woman and very unprofessional attitude to paying customers. She always treats us this way and makes it blatantly obvious in front of the other customers, Absolutely awful attitude. We go because its the cleanest, nicest drinking establishment in Raunds. But that may not last much longer with her attitude towards us as a family of colour. Not a people person to a certain criteria of people. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that. Being people of colour, and its only getting worse. I thought racism had changed for the better, but not as far as she is concerned. Price per person: £50–60 Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: If you have a disability, you have to ask the staff for a key to the disabled toilet as doesn't use a radar key. Not sure I like everyone knowing when I want to use the lavatory, And if staff are busy you have to wait your turn, not good if you have a weakness of the bladder or similar. Kid-friendliness: Not at all if you are a person of colour. Wheelchair accessibility: Slope for wheelchairs
