We had such a fantastic experience at Ye Olde Bridge Inn in Oxton! From the moment we arrived, the venue had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely fantastic. We shared the Sticky Belly Pork, Roasted Summer Root and Lebanese Cauliflower to start, and all three were sensational. Perfectly seasoned, so full of flavour, pork perfectly rendered and that cauliflower so crispy! We’d definitely recommend ordering a few dishes to share so you can try a selection. For mains, we had the Skillet Roasted Cod with lemon, garlic and wine sauce, crispy feta potatoes and rocket, as well as the Chimichurri Summer Steak with Parmesan and truffle oil fries. Both were delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Dessert was just as impressive. The Lemon Cheesecake Mousse was delicious, while the Raspberry Cornflake Tart came highly recommended and definitely lived up to expectations. A special mention to Lucy, Poppy and Karen, who looked after us so well throughout our visit and gave us some brilliant recommendations. We also loved trying the creative cocktails, especially the Froze — a wine spritzer with peach! Ye Olde Bridge Inn is a fantastic place to eat in Oxton and somewhere we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for great food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. We left on a real foodie high and can’t wait to return and work our way through more of the menu! Main came staggered and 2 meals so late 2 finished their meals completely before meals arrived. Party of five. Very dissatisfied . Got the late meal for free as rightly so. But sadly damage done. A bridge to far I'm afraid. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £10–20

After looking into what happened, we found that our waitress unfortunately missed putting the two dishes through to the kitchen, which caused the delay. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when the rest of your party had finished eating before the meals arrived.While we did, of course, remove the delayed meals from your bill, we appreciate that this didn't undo the disappointment. Came for dinner on Saturday night for valentines, the staff were amazing and so friendly. Presented my girlfriend with a bouquet of flowers after the meal.
Food was absolutely delicious and will definitely be back.
Lovely pub.
