I thoroughly enjoyed the welcome to Ye Old Inn, once seated we were served with lovely jugs of ice cold water, we were a crowd of fourteen. The meals we ordered were mainly their well known battered fish and chips and peas, we also had an order of Chicken Caesar salad and Korean chicken and rice. The meals went down well, I must admit it was the best fish and chips I have ever had. We all ordered our desserts which were bananas splits, sticky toffee pudding and then we sat and chatted with happy full bellies. Many thanks to Ian and the staff and the chefs in the kitchen for an afternoon to cherish, we will definitely recommend this restaurant and return for more moments to cherish. Ian you are a wonderful asset to Ye old inn. With thankful hearts and full bellies we are leaving Witham tale to tell. Kind regards from the Golden Oldies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for a family Christmas meal to Ye Olde Inn for their Christmas Fayre (2024) menu. Food was absolutely delicious Excellent value for money. Great service and a lovely, relaxing family and friendly atmosphere. Thank you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40 Vegetarian options: Available. Dietary restrictions: Yes, gluten free was catered for. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking Kid-friendliness: A family dining area. Kids ran around a bit which wasn't a problem. Other families there, too Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, all one level with accessible, disabled toilet access
