Ordered food for first time ever to be delivered. It had no taste other than the taste of old cooking oil. So gross. Very disappointing. Even the dipping sauces were so bland. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1

Curry tasted fine but no chunks of vegetables meant it was a bit unsatisfying to eat. Katsu was pounded into oblivion and burnt, avoid that at the very least. Food: 2

Many "chunks of vegetables" is not the Japanese way, rather the curry has been cooked for a long time that reduces the vegetables into the sauce -save for a few carrots perhaps. As for your Katsu, I do apologize. Did you call us to enquire about a replacement? Was this a delivery service order? Or did you pick this up yourself? We would be happy to replace your order if given the chance. Call us.

A hole in the wall! Yo-Kare! Is located in a little Japanese grocery store. We ordered the Kara’age Don and Chicken Katsu Kare and it was as good as it look, actually even better!! So glad to have found this hidden gem! It’s only take out though. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
