Absolutely beautiful got the large fry and not 1 bit of grease on it was the best fry I've ever had my wife got the pancake stack and she loved it also homemade pancakes Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £30–40 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

My husband and I had a meal which was OK. The staff were really lovely. We got a carry out for our son. He wanted a burger and dirty chip. The burger meal was £17.95 and the dirty chip was was £7.95. We were unable to upgrade the burger meal. I told the waitress that we didn't want the chip with the burger as it would just be put in the bin. So, a burger and dirty chip cost £25.90. When we got it home, the burger was black and dried out. Very disappointing. Town prices. We will definitely not be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Sharon thank you for your review. I can’t comment on the meal you and your husband had as you haven’t said what you had. As for the burger you got to takeaway we normally don’t do takeaway, all our burgers are homemade 7oz pure ground beef and come with a portion of homemade chips ,sorry you didn’t enjoy it. i think you’ll find that this would be a normal price in any restaurant at evening time. We don’t substitute a plain chip for a dirty chip as our dirty chips are a much larger portion loaded with spring onions, bacon cheese and yum sauce which is a meal in itself, so as you added this your ordered this as an extra this increased the price.
