This place will be my new go to in the area. I do not know if the man with the green eyes working when I was in was the manager but he treated the place like his own. The falafel were so large and delicious and I love biting into them while they are hot. I over ordered because I didn't realize they would be so big but everyone that I shared them with didn't seem to mind. :) The man was so gracious and kind and he threw in a pita (and dips) which I believe were all house made. The place is very clean and I really hope it does well. Not all Shawarma places are created equally. If you are looking for high protein and affordable meals this is where you want to go. 100% recommend and will be back soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing Shawarma!! Especially the pita bread, you won’t find it anywhere, in the picture it’s one shawarma cut into two and only for around 12$ The fries are amazing seems like home made ones. The owner is very sweet too Overall enjoyed our meal and would recommend this shawarma as one of the best I had in 6ix Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best chicken skewers in the city! Speaking as someone with severe digestive issues, this place is fantastic for good, clean food. Chicken is basically the only meat that I can eat without getting serious stomach upset, but the way that most restaurants prepare usually bothers my guts a bit. All the sauces and spices overwhelm my system, but I've never had any issues with Khayal Shawarma's meat. It's so flavorful despite the fact that it's not covered from end to end in heavy sauces. They have their marinade, but for the most part, the meat speaks for itself, and it's wonderful. The smell of the flame grill cooking as I wait for my food really gets my appetite going and I'm basically drooling by the time they hand me my to-go container. I've visited 6 or 7 times but I have yet to dine in, YET! It's such a beautiful looking restaurant with tons of space. I love the brick walls and the overall vibe of the place. So clean looking, they really put in the effort to keep their space sanitary, and I appreciate that as much as I appreciate the excellent food. There's nothing stopping this place from becoming a landmark restaurant on the Danforth. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
