SCAM ALERT!!! I had a terrible experience and would NOT recommend Zaaffran, especially for private events and functions! We had agreed on a set price for the event, but when the bill came, we were charged an additional £150-£200 for things we never received or even agreed to. To make matters worse, the owner was nowhere to be found and was hiding in the kitchen, leaving us to deal with his wife and kids instead.

We recently hosted an event at this venue and were extremely disappointed with the experience. Prior to the event, we had agreed on a set menu, price, and table service, but unfortunately, things did not go as planned. Despite our initial agreement, we were overcharged by more than £150 due to miscalculations on their part, including incorrect food orders and an inaccurate headcount. When we raised our concerns, we were met with hostility from the owners wife, daughter, and a male staff member whist the owner hid in the kitchen, which made the situation even more unpleasant. While they eventually acknowledged their mistakes, we were still required to pay the additional amount. After speaking with others who have held events here, we learned that similar incidents have occurred before, which raises serious concerns about their business practices. We had initially planned to host multiple future events at this venue, but given this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this venue and advise others to be cautious when booking.u Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely disgusting, there is 1 man in the shop who is the waiter, cook, cleaner and everything. The food was so disgusting and raw and we had to return most of it. When the bill came the man thought he would be clever and label an amount as "services charges" when he was actually just redeeming the raw curries that we returned. absolutely disgusting and will be reporting this business to health officials, this was disgusting and a waste of money. No one come here Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
