The owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very cozy, comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet is various and delicious (even including vegetarian and vegan options) with freshly baked bread and viennoiseries from their own bakery. Schwarzwald Torte is available in a cafe (the same building) and it is the best that we have ever tried! There is a regular workshop arranged by the owners how to make this cake at home. Only positive impression and we are looking forward to come back :) Service: 5

We are very disappointed with Café Zimmermann! We used to be regulars there when the senior couple Matt was still in charge. Today the junior boss from the Czech Republic, who married in in a calculating manner, has taken over command. Their main task is to regularly increase prices (small cup of coffee 3.70 euros!) and to hire cheap staff from Eastern Europe. On top of that, she shines with feigned friendliness. The pieces of cake are also getting smaller and smaller, but are regularly more expensive. Conclusion: Avoid Café Zimmermann! There are enough alternatives.
