I’ve visited Zorro's Steakhouse a few times, and it’s always been known as a classic, old-school high-end spot. It has a strong reputation, especially among construction professionals and even pilots, which adds to its unique atmosphere. Overall, the food was good and met expectations. However, my most recent visit didn’t live up to my previous experiences. While the setting and concept remain the same, the service felt noticeably different this time. Some of the staff—possibly bussers or server assistants—didn’t come across as genuine. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, I could sense that the interactions felt somewhat superficial rather than warm or attentive. I also understand that my host is considered a regular VIP at the restaurant, but even with that, the overall experience didn’t reflect the level of service I had come to expect from this place. Hoping this was just an off night, as I’ve had better experiences here before. They charged me $8.50 for a coke and me and my daughter both supposedly got 8 ounce steaks and they looked small. The veg was just boil and dump. The building and furniture was clearly bought and paid for before 1980 so what are they ripping us off for - cause we were dumb enough to go. It's a mistake I'm only making once. Go to the Keg- same shi+ half price.
