Okay so I would give a 1* review for today but previously they have been good so that would feel mean. We ordered from JustEat and the food quality was awful (we ordered vegetarian sharing platter, vege. gyozas and 2 drinks). The sushi seemed ancient and questionable. The miso soup part was just misogyny paste (on previous delivery orders, misogyny soup came with dehydrated tofu and spring onions). The edamame also seemed old. The gyozas were obviously microwaved. One of our group of 3 ate one gyoza, then settled on a sandwich with a little edamame instead for dinner. Also the delivery was lengthy, ETA 25 mins and it took 45-50 mins (most time at restaurant, driver was quick). We hoped that meant the platter was being made fresh... *sigh* Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Essentially Japanese fast food. Today's delivery has shaken my confidence in Bath's Itsu, but I heard the parent company has changed so if other Itsu experiences are poor, I may begin to avoid the whole chain. I won't trust by delivery again, but in the restaurant you can see before you buy and miso soup is way better enjoyed there.

I had such a great experience at Itsu, and I just have to give a special shoutout to Shaun for the amazing service. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect with my order and made the whole experience feel personal rather than rushed. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in what they do, but Shaun absolutely does. His positive attitude and professionalism really stood out and made my visit even better.
