One of the better fish and chips I’ve had locally. Everything tasted fresh, and the batter was light and crispy. Chips were spot on. The homemade fish cake really stood out – great flavour and texture. Definitely worth a try. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing food, especially the chicken curry and homemade fishcake! Fantastic portion of food as always, love the rich and creamy texture of the curry and fresh cooked chips. Will definitely have a visit again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent. But if ever a chippy deserved to change its name it's Man Friday. Across from where it is sung, it should be called Greasy Chip Butty.
