Some of the best quality fish sashimi lovers. My best friend and I chose Umamia because you could see the quality of the salmon sashimi from pictures others took. You can see from the pictures that we took that the sashimi is thick, fresh, and really the perfect cut. Thank you so much, we will be back to try some more! My husband and I had an incredible dinner date at Umamia in Griffintown!! The ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a date night or special occasions. We started with four appetizers: miso soup, salmon yakitori, chicken karaage, and salmon tartare. Everything was well-seasoned and perfectly balanced. The chicken karaage was incredibly crispy without being greasy, easily the best we've ever had thus far. The chicken karaage and salmon tartare come with nori chips, which were sooo soooo good! We ordered the Experience Platter for 2 as our main meal and glad we did. The platter was well curated with a full spread of sushi and sashimi. Every single piece was fresh and delicious. We shared a pistachio cheesecake that's just sweet enough and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
