By far the Leeds one is better. The service is excellent. The ambiance is really lovely and the food was really tasty. But the most noticeable thing is the service, maybe the staff from
The Leeds and Bradford road branch could definitely learn from the Leeds one.
Prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are average.
I definitely recommend the Leeds one. The only disadvantage is the parking as it's in the city centre.
2) Food (1/1) : we were 5 of us and we ordered the following
a) Chef's challenge - their famous NON-VEG CURRY(chicken and lamb) cooked in 'balti sauce' served with their huge FAMILY NAAN, PILAU RICE and a small portion of CHOLE. All of it was great, though the chole could definitely have some more flavour in it.
b) LIVER TIKKA - I am not a huge fan of liver but my friends ordered it and were happy with the taste, portion and the way it was cooked.
c) CHICKEN BIRYANI- Was craving for it ever since I got to Leeds and this biryani did not disappoint me! Decent portion, balanced amount of spices and filled with flavour and chunky pieces of beautifully cooked chicken! Will definitely go back for more!
3) Service (0.75/1) - It does take a while to get the food - but then the wait was totally worth it!
4) Innovation & Technique (0.75/1)- They are known for their "chef's challenge", their huge family naan and their mini birthday cakes for celebrating a special one's special day! all of these set them apart and people really enjoy their food!
5) VFM (0.75/1) - Our bill was about £25 after NHS discount (£5 per head). A great meal, good ambience and service - we were happy with that!
