If you visit Sunny Hunny are are fed up paying £50 or more on soggy Fish n Chips that taste so bland these days (yes it's Pollock) that you have to empty a whole bottle of vinegar on them to get taste lol ......then get over to Old Hunstanton and discover a hidden gem 'The Ancient Mariner Inn' easy parking - stunning views of the wash - fantastic service - amazing food and best of all excellent value for money. We arrived (party of 5) on a Wednesday lunchtime with an elderly relative in a wheel chair and as we entered (front entrance) a young bartender quickly came over asking if we needed help getting down a bar step (amazing service) actually if you enter from the left as you look at the front its 100% wheelchair friendly and easy to get in .... once inside, everything is so well laid out and the views are amazing we had 2 rounds of drinks for all 5, 5 main meals with a coffee after - for less than a Toby Carvery ..... once again brilliant service brilliant food and we will be back. Thank you for a great meal n more importantly great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Great for families Wheelchair accessibility: Arrive and go left of the pub around the level path up a short easy slope and into the dining area.
