I used to go to this restaurant but no more: One time I went, I asked for either beurf bourgignon or coque au vin, being both typical french dishes. They had neither. One time I went midweek at 9.25pm the lady said they were closed and I complained that it was very early and unprofessional, but I was not rude in any way. The next time I went the same and only waitress, I believe the owner's partner, told me that as I was rude to her, which i was not, she would not serve me. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant as unhelpful and arrogant appauling service. J Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It's a very homey place. We booked for dinner on a Friday night, it's very quiet, only a few tables were filled. We chose the £35 per person set plus tomato salad. The food is very tasty and well presented, but the portions are so small. After finishing our meal we were still very hungry - ended up going to a second restaurant. If they could add any side like potatoes that will make the experience a bit better. We don't like the atmosphere because it's too quiet with only a few customer in there, so we left quickly. Sadly, won't go back again. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Augustine Kitchen. From start to finish, everything was excellent—the food, ambience, service, and menu selection were all outstanding. Our starters (burrata with roasted vegetables) were fresh and well-prepared, setting the tone for the meal. For mains, we had the cod and steak, both of which were delicious and cooked beautifully. Only one of us managed dessert, which was a real highlight and thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and one we’d happily repeat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
