I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it a perfect place for both family dinners and casual outings. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. Every dish was prepared with care, using high-quality ingredients, and the presentation was impressive. The menu offered a great variety of options, so there was something for everyone to enjoy. The portions were generous and provided excellent value for the price. What really stood out was the consistency in both the food and customer service. The team was professional, helpful, and always ready to accommodate special requests. It's clear they take pride in creating a memorable experience for every guest. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back and would happily give it five stars! What an exceptional evening at Baluchi at The LaLiT London, celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, but what elevated the experience from excellent to unforgettable was the generosity and passion of Executive Chef Praveen and his remarkable kitchen team. The menu was beautifully curated, with every dish prepared and presented to an exceptionally high standard. The flavours were vibrant, beautifully balanced and clearly showcased the authenticity and craftsmanship behind the cuisine. It was evident that every element had been thoughtfully considered. One of the highlights of the evening was Chef Praveen’s kind invitation into the kitchen. Seeing the brigade in action, learning about the carefully selected spices, traditional cooking techniques and even the art of making the perfect roti added a fascinating and memorable dimension to the experience. It is rare to encounter a chef so generous with both his time and knowledge. A special thank you also to Danny, who led the front-of-house team with warmth, professionalism and effortless attention to detail throughout the evening. The surprise birthday cake arranged for Vicky was a wonderful gesture and the perfect ending to a truly special celebration. The restaurant itself is equally impressive. Set within the magnificent former St Olave’s Grammar School, the building’s history has been beautifully preserved, while the rich sapphire blue interiors, dramatic chandeliers and elegant architecture create a truly spectacular setting. Baluchi offers far more than outstanding food, it delivers an experience. I look forward to returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for one of London’s finest Indian dining experiences. Congratulations team Baluchi.
