Really lovely experience today. All the bakes looked so inviting and got some lovely customer service from the gent who made serving recommendations and was just really lovely and patient (couldn't decide out of all the lovely flavours!). Can't not stop when walking past! Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

WOW, like a taste from Home ('States), and I do not like putting that item out there. So as not to prejudice the reviews. However, the items looked spectacular, and tasted even better that they look. As I like citrus, - , and the lot I chose a Lemon Muffin. The young lady staffing the kiosk today was helpful and went out of her way to inform me that the lemon filling was lemon curd (like a jam/jelly filled donut for others from Canada or North America). and not a crème made of dairy or yogurt. This made my purchase much easier and she had a cheerful face, too. As they did not have hot drinks @ Batch'd I went to the Costa coffee nearby and bought a small Americano, black w/ 2 sugars. The combination of the vanilla icing w/ the soft lemon sponge and tangy lemon curd went puuuur-fect w/ the .
