Excellent selection of drinks and food options, but of course we came for the steak—and it certainly didn't disappoint. We ordered the 24oz Chateaubriand sharing steak, which was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the overall experience was excellent. My only small criticism is that, for a sharing steak costing £98, only one small pot of sauce is included. In similar steakhouses we've visited in London, two sauces are often provided with a sharing steak, so having to pay extra for additional sauce felt a little disappointing. That said, the quality of the food and service more than made up for it, and we'll definitely be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A friend and I went for an early lunch and I’m happy to say the service was excellent. The food was also very good, with decent-sized portions. Importantly, the toilets were very clean, which is non negotiable for me. Overall a really positive experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was out for my mom's birthday on Sunday the 25th of May 2025. After walking out of a restaurant (The boathouse) nearby before ordering any food due to appalling behavior from their staff , we came across Brettington's Steak and Lobster house, and boy are we glad we ate here. From start to finish all 3 of us had a fantastic time. We walked in, not having a reservation and were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We were seated straight away. The service was a little slow to take our drinks and food order, however the waitress apologized and we could see that they were busy. Our starters arrived in good time, and was delicious! My partner had the crispy beef and I had the scallops, both were to die for. There was a little delay with our main food coming out but again, the waitress apologized and kept us informed and always checking in to see if we needed any more drinks. ( I highly recommend their cocktails!!!!). My mom had the steak, my partner the burger and I had the half rack of ribs, and lets just say I do not think there was a crumb left to put in the bin. We all really enjoyed our food, and even had a sneaky pudding. As it was mom's birthday, the kitchen staff placed her dessert on a slightly different plate and wrote "happy birthday" on it, just a small gesture that goes a long way. Needless to say the pudding was delicious. 10/10 recommend and we will be coming back. Thank you to all the staff! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60
