I used to come here most of time but waiting time is too much. You have to wait min 15 minutes for shawarma. I waited 20 minutes for 2 chicken burger. I choised chicken burger because its frozen and quick but at that one aswell we wait 20 minutes. The frozen chicken had been overcooked and left out so long it was rock hard. It was incredibly crunchy. My son hurt his tooth and our whole day was ruined. We realized it after we left there. The guys are ok but not enough. Still can't get over how good the food was, for under a tenner and with massive portions. Shawarma and rice was fantastic - meat was charred and juicy and the rice was smoky. Homemade sauces brought it all together. Chef was real friendly and happy to explain how they get the rice so good, will go back every time I'm in town. We went to Crown twice during our stay in Liverpool. Their value for money is incredible, the food is so tasty, and portions are huge! I can recommend the signature shawarmas - the current £6 deal for a massive chicken shawarma with a drink and chips is beyond good value, and so yummy. The staff are very friendly as well.
