From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome. When booking, I mentioned that I was celebrating my birthday and would be dining alone, but the team immediately made the occasion feel special. There was even a birthday card waiting for me at my table, which was a lovely touch. The view of Edinburgh Castle from my table was magnificent. I started with the ribs, followed by the chicken and cashew nut stir-fry, and both dishes were excellent. To top it all off, I was surprised with a slice of cheesecake complete with the obligatory birthday candle, which was both unexpected and greatly appreciated. What really stood out, however, was the service. Every member of staff I encountered was attentive, friendly and professional, and I felt exceptionally well looked after throughout my visit. I would thoroughly recommend Chaophraya Edinburgh for a special occasion—although there's really no need to wait for one.
