First time visiting Eat Meat Halal Steakhouse and everything was on point. We went as a couple and I booked a table in advance, which I would definitely recommend. The place can get busy, so it’s better to book ahead rather than risk waiting. From the moment we arrived, the experience was really good. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere and the decor suited the steakhouse theme well. The music was quite loud and the place in general does have a loud, upbeat feel to it. I think this is done to create a certain atmosphere, which some people will really enjoy, but if that’s not your kind of dining style then just a heads up. The food did take some time to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait in the end. Everything was presented really well and you could tell care had gone into the food. We ordered a few different items including steak, lamb shank, mac and cheese, sides, vegetables and drinks. Everything was cooked well and full of flavour. The mac and cheese was really nice and the cheese pull was WOW. Definitely one of the highlights. The steak was excellent and I really liked the idea of it coming with a hot stone. In my opinion, that is a brilliant touch as it lets you enjoy the steak exactly how you want it. The lamb shank was tender, tasty and went nicely with the mash and vegetables. The sides were fresh and the mocktail was presented really well and refreshing. Portion sizes were reasonable and the quality of the food made it feel worth the price. Service was good throughout and the staff were polite and attentive. Overall, a really enjoyable meal. We visited as a couple this time, but we intend to visit again as a family InShaAllah. I would definitely recommend Eat Meat Halal Steakhouse. Price per person: £40–50

What an incredible evening at Eat Meat! From the moment we arrived, Farida made us feel so welcome and completely looked after. She was warm, personable, attentive and had amazing knowledge of the menu, dietary requirements, and all things steak and beef. Nothing felt rushed — she gave us plenty of time to choose and made sure every single dish came out piping hot and exactly how we wanted it. Farida truly went the extra mile to make our evening perfect, and her customer service was absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you as well to Sayed and Anas who were both fantastic throughout the night. Anas especially put on an amazing smoky presentation show which made the experience even more special! To top it all off, we were surprised with a complimentary cheesecake on the house — such a lovely and unexpected gesture. The food was simply perfect. We’re extremely picky when it comes to eating out, but every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. Honestly, the quality and taste were on another level. Thank you again Farida and the whole team for making magic happen and giving us such a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back again soon! Worst service ever I won’t come back. Wanted to try this place based on a friend’s recommendation. Booked a table for 5 for 9pm online and have a booking confirmation. Got there early but they said we’d have to wait 15-20 minutes until the table became available because the previous group came very late. How is that professional to let in late comers when we already have the table reserved. We saw multiple couples and some groups of people being sat down at tables whilst we’re waiting. It’s been 40 minutes and no word from the waiter. We had to ask him how much longer because it seemed like we were forgotten about. The waiter says the group ordered desserts and that were looking at another 20-30 minutes wait and he said “Don’t blame you if you want to walk out” it sounded as if it was patronising and hinting at us to leave. Clearly we weren’t wanted and it really makes me question if there was a form of favouritism with which customers they want to serve or not. We left in the end without being able to get a table even though we booked it. So so disappointed as I love steak. It was also my friends birthday and I didn’t like how they made us feel. Never going there again. So if you go don’t bet on you booking a table will guarantee you a table until an hour later and the service is really horrendous.
